I'm a few days late with this, but Lucasfilm will apparently be releasing the original trilogy on DVD. Of course, it won't really be the Holy Three; it'll be the special editions, filled with what my colleague Lillebuen aptly termed "CG bunk." Rumour has it there may be even more bunk than in the theatrical re-releases. Oh well, rent 'em and rip 'em (to quote another friend of mine.)
I've got the originals on region-free Thailand DVDs, so nyahhh...
