I'm sure there's couple of blogs that are actually influential, but I'd bet the people behind those blogs would probably be able to insinuate their opinions intot he big bad world one way or the other.
Foreign Policy has a long article on the influence of blogs on politics and policy. While I'm sure the ability to spread stories quickly is both innovative and advantageous, I somehow doubt a bunch of ranting dinks in their bedrooms (yours truly included) will be able to influence the ebb and flow of history.
