POSTED IN GADGETRY...

Gizmodo goes to Japan....

Gizmodo is a fine resource for gadget freaks such as myself. The webmaster is in Japan right now, and he's blogging the starry eyed wonder one feels when you first wander into Shibuya and realize you've stumbled onto gadget mecca. Having gone through that myself, I feel his joy. :)

Also, I notice Shibuya is still rife with the latest giant posters for offensive/ridiculous/hilarious idol singers, in this case covered in jam.

If you're a Japanophile and a gadget freak, there are few better feelings in the world than stepping out of the subway and seeing stuff like this:

Of course, after a couple of weeks, you're all "yeah yeah, robot dog cell phones, whoopee," but for that first little while, all the bleep-blappery is pretty intoxicating.

I don't know... I lived there for a total of about six years and I still can't get enough of the gadgets and idols covered in "Love Jam"...
