I am working the 8-4 shift today, but I'm taking a coffee break to maintain my yearly custom. I watch the first episode at precisely 10:16:20, or 5:16:20 in England, the exact time that the first episode went out in England back in '63. Such a loser.

Given the spirit crushing power of a certain glass teat concern, how are you gonna pull this off? Tuck into a dub suite and slip in a VHS tape for 22.5 minutes? :)
Thankfully, I was on a dub shift and, even with a bunch of bigwigs in town, managed to pull it off. Hartnell is such a crotchety old bastard in those super early ones. Love 'im.
Nicely done, old man. Bigwigs just tend to poke their heads into dub suites, goo and gah at the shiny VTRs and flashing lights with an air of utter incomphrehension, and then leave. Plus you're on your break, so according to Grandpa Simpson rules, you can actually start stealing stuff! :)
