Alan Moore interview on the BBC

I just can't get enough of the greatest genius in comicdom, Alan Moore. Neither, evidently, can the BBC, who featured him on a show named Chain Reaction (sorry, it's Realaudio). There's also a transcript. I found this thanks to the always excellent Bookslut.

If you get the chance, check out Identity Crisis by Brad Meltzer. Came out this past summer/fall and it rocked! It made the characters of the DC Universe come to life in the same way that Alan Moore brought the heroes/villans to life in Watchmen. Not out in trade paperback yet, so you will have to hunt the issues down. You won't regret it! Check out an interview with the writer and a preview of the first issue at http://www.ugo.com/channels/comics/features/identitycrisis/bradmeltzer.asp

Re: Identity Crisis -- IMO it was great until Issue 7, when the killer's identity was exposed because of a verbal slip-up (lame cliché).
