The CBC is back, and it's about time

After a couple of months of nonsensical bickering, the CBC is finally back on track. Even though I've been pretty good at ignoring MotherCorp's existence for the last little while, it is nice to see the usual crew back in their seats on Newsworld. I haven't yet tuned into CBC Radio, but I imagine the weekend will once again be tolerable with the dulcet tones of Michael Enright letting me know what's what. Now if only they'd get more podcasts out the door....

As do I. But they better get podcasting, it's not like they don't have the resources, or the need to please some commercial interest.

I don't have my ear to the ground regarding CBC podcasts, but I know for a fact that "Quirks and Quarks" is available in such a format...but then, you probably already knew that.

Yeah, "Quirks" is out, as is the excellent Radio 3 podcast. But I'd like to see the Sunday Edition, Ideas, the Current, and As it Happens as podcasts, and that book show on Sundays wouldn't be bad either. I'd also like to see every episode of Definitely Not the Opera destroyed, and Sook Yin Lee burned at the stake, but that's just me. :)
