For some bizarre reason, my last post about the new Cybermen designs got eaten. Here they are, in all their sweet metal badassery.

That is so cool. Retro, yet sleek and current. So glad they didn't "Borg" it up by putting tubes and wires and human eyes on it. But then, why would Doctor Who rip off Star Trek, who ripped off Doctor Who when they created The Borg?
The eyes of the new Cyberman are so blank. I hope they are quicker than the old ones. I'm also glad to see that they won't be CGI, like all those Clone Troopers.
Yeah, there's just enough tubing and wires and lack of silver painted cricket gloves on these bad boys. Plus ol' Russell and his crew don't seem content to rehash the old stuff, unlike a certain other flamboyant Dr. Who producer of yesteryear, so I'm sure he'll throw a twist or two in the Cyberman mythos our way.
Let's not forget, too - Graeme Harper is directing the Cybermen story. He already made the Daleks and masked madmen about as kickass as they possibly could be.
At first seeing them I thoought the body did look more like a borg, but after taking with a friend I think that the body of the Cyberman looks more like a Cylon. except for the feet, and hands. I still can't say whether or not I like the heads new design. I think that it is going to take some getting use to. After all this Cyberman has the most in design changes than what we have seen in the look of them. Though I have to say I wanted to see a Cyberman with a slightly older looking design. have it go for teh retro look.
After the first time I saw them, I was repulsed... then confused... then somewhat attracted... more attracted... more attracted... VERY attracted... then I suddenly lost interest again... then I felt ashamed... VERY ashamed, then oddly attracted again...
So how long have to been so interested in mechanical men. Gee that sort of sounds like your gay or something. lol
