hah....ah, it's all red carpet crap right now (and this hostess jabbering with Leonard maltin looks like she just got out of a leather tannery...yeessh) but the goods should begin shortly.

Also, if you're watching the CTV coverage, "Munich, a movie about an Olympic tragedy that shook the world!"??? WTF? That's technically correct, I guess but it's kind of like calling "Brokeback Mountain" a "movie about the trials and tribulations of herding..."

BTW, the opening wasn't bad... some serious rotoscoping work there peeling out all those characters from old movies. What the hell is with the fruity set though?

Hmm, Bacall not doing so hot. Mars adds "why can't I quit you!"

I frightened my fellow viewers by reciting along with Palpatine during the makeup awards "once more the SITH WILL RULE THE GALAXY"

Other than that, kinda meh. Glad to see Clooney won, other than that, don't really care.

Bacall=wtf? Did her life support system give up half way through?

I have to say, the comedy has been better than anything in recent years... along with Stewart, Ben Stiller, Steve Carrell and Will Ferrel were all pure gold... Clooney's acceptance speech had some funny shit in it too...

BTW, not much mention of "Pret a Porter" on the Altman tribute, but the presentation was pretty fucking funny...

Read this.

Guests who took home gift-packed bags from Sunday's 78th Annual Academy Awards ceremony may have to pay $30,000 in taxes on their new acquisitions. The bags, which included a $7,000 Victoria's Secret underwear set and a coupon for Lasik surgery, are worth approximately $100,000 each. And unfortunately for the celebrities present, the Unites States Inland Revenue Service has declared that the bags given to Oscar attendees count as taxable income. IRS commissioner Mark Everson quips, "We want to make sure the stars 'walk the line' when it comes to these goody bags."

Ha-ha rich fuckers!
