The New York Times magazine has
a rather lengthy article about the future of books, and how scanning said tomes will change the printed word. Pretty interesting, especially for a bibliophile such as myself, though this is by Kevin Kelly, who wrote the infamous
"even our butlers will have butlers when the Dow hits 30,000" article for Wired magazine during the Internet bubble.
