Frey you rock! But where is the Amiga 1000!?
Technology Review asked some designers to list off what they regard as iconic pieces of gear. There's some nice vintage and new stuff here, enough to make gadgeteers and designers alike drool with appreciation.
Frey you rock! But where is the Amiga 1000!?
It's true, I do. I always thought the 500 was the better designed unit. The 1000 was a slightly slicker IBM PC box (as was the 2000).
What I love about Amiga is how to this day Amiga-heads carp about how awesome the computer is/was/will be, even though a DS has it beat in the processing department. Not that it wasn't cool as all hell for its time, though. :)
