Computers are the new Wall St. tycoons

Which, really, is as it should be. Computers don't order expensive booze in high-end restaurants while loudly making asses of themselves, nor do they show up on the cover of Forbes smoking cigars and looking smug.

But in all seriousness, apparently computers are replacing brokers because they're faster, more efficient, and don't insider-trade or give away secrets. Interesting, and I wonder how long it'll be before some genius comes out with a program that allows people at home to do the same thing, and what effects that would have on the economy.
