Result: Metaverse. I 'm not entirely sure Second Life is the coming of the long-vaunted 3-d Internet universe science fiction writers scribbled about in the 80's and 90's, but it is an interesting proof of concept to see the real world grafted onto the virtual.
Weird. I haven't done much noodling in Second Life (though now that I have a computer that can handle it, I might) though I have done a fair bit of exploration in World of Warcraft. The main draw of that game for me is the art and the sprawling landscapes...since I"m not really very good at the actual gameplay.
