Radio Free Skaro #47 - Mehvolution of the Daleks

The episode under fire in our commentary may be nothing to write home about, but this week's episode of Radio Free Skaro was indeed special in that it included Chris Burgess, our perennial silent partner and Fifth Beatle. Chris threw in his two bits on Evolution of the Daleks (three guesses as to how he felt about this snoozefest) and managed to inspire awe and fright in both Warren and Steven with his vast and sinister knowledge of all things Whovian. And yep, I updated the Facebook group already. Yay for whatever you're using for a blog backend being predictable for its naming system. =)

Thanks for having me guys, it was fun, I look forward to either doing another or having the fans revolt and telling me to sod off. =)

Well for this episode and the one before this I was fully expecting that everyone would be breaking out in song.
Just out of curiosity why the doctor couldn't have changed back the guy from the half human half pig to full human again after all he had access to the abandoned Dalek Labs.

Why couldn't the Doctor revert half-pig man back into being a human? Because he said he couldn't. All he could do was stabilize his metabolism to prevent him from prematurely dying. Hey, there's only so much you can do with bunsen burners and sonic screwdrivers.

In Attack of the Cybermen, the Doctor was fixing the chameleon circuit and (among other things) the TARDIS appeared as an organ (on which the Doctor played some of Bach's toccata & fugue in D minor).

And thanks, the third guy had fun. =)

And then he beat the crap out of a policeman. And they said the show was "too violent" - pah!

"The Third Guy" - I think we found you a new nickname, Chris!

Hmm, can't I just be the tall guy who intimidates everyone, like usual? =)

Then again being nearly 7 feet tall doesn't come across in the podcast, does it?

Is that the one with the Cyberman on the dance floor?

Yes - the third guy should be included in future bits.

Spoiler news about SJA over at http://sarahjanetv.blogspot.com/2007/08/all-hail-new-spoilers.html

Nothing really new, some of it confirms earlier rumours.
