New documentary about text adventures

Get Lamp is a documentary aimed squarely at the heart of aging Infocom addicts everywhere (ie. your beloved author.) Jason Scott, who previously released BBS: The Documentary, has traveled across North America interviewing many of the pioneers that brought you Zork, Adventure and many other classics of the genre. The film isn't done yet, but when complete it promises to be the best (and only, I think) visual history of text adventures ever created.Bring on the grue eating goodness!

That's awesome; between that and Zork on the iPhone it's a banner year for the text adventure... :)

Wonderful news, those games were the bomb back in the day before graphics cards could handle anything aproaching realism. I just hope they don't skip over the two Douglas Adams games, I mean common he helped revitalize the company and added randomness to a static txt game engine (mainly beacuse no one told him he couldn't). Bravo to the days when Infocom meant games and not terrorist corporate money scandal.
