One of the best (ok only) things about Japanese TV is the ads. This particular bit of genius from Softbank is certifiable gold. Who can resist a grumpy dog that barks orders and calls his son-in-law to be (?) a pussy?

An interesting breakdown of the content, people and weirdness of YouTube. Haven’t watched all of it yet, but I hope the lecturer gets into the rank stupidity of most of the commenters.

One of the worst things about Youtube is the sheer volume of “tribute” videos and other such poorly edited codswallop that gets in the way of searching for a clip of, say, Doctor Who. But amongst the junk there are a few gems, including this mashup of the interminable flight sequences from “Time Flight” with James Bond and the Death Star (amongst other wackiness):
