Democrats PWN the House

by

After losing the House in 1994, and then the White House in 2000 (barely, and not entirely legally), the democrats have been flailing around, rudderless and unable to best the Republican machine. 9/11 and the Iraq war didn’t help much either. But it’s the war, to a very large extent, that predicated the Democratic takeover of the House of Congress yesterday.

While I’m pleased to see some movement against Bush and Co., the Senate is still up for grabs, and Bush is still in charge for another two years, ample time for the Democrats to screw things up.

UPDATE: Rumsfeld out! That was quick. Not that Iraq’s going to get any better any time soon.
