I’m in Osoyoos, though I

by

I’m in Osoyoos, though I have yet to find an apartment. I’ve got a line on one, but I have to wait until the end of today to find out whether I’ve been approved or not. Here’s hoping, or I’ll end up living in a fruit-picker’s shack. Yuck.

The place I’m looking at has a ton of space, most of which I probably won’t use. I may end up living in the bedroom and picking up a second hand weight bench or something. I won’t use it, I’ll just let it fill space in the living room. 🙂 Or I’ll use the bedroom for storage and live in the living room. This is the flip side of scaling down all your posessions; you feel wasteful if you live in anything above 300 sq feet of space.

Osoyoos (so far) is kind of like walking through a suburb of Vancouver, without any actual Vancouver attached to it. I’m sure once the temperature skyrockets I’ll feel differently, but that’s my general impression for now.
