Monday Night Football sinking fast…

by

I’ll be the first to admit I don’t care a jot for football, so I probably wouldn’t miss Monday Night Football if it sinks into irrelevance. But as a member of the media (two of them, now), I can appreciate the innovation Monday Night Football fostered in sports coverage.

And let’s not forget that Howard Cosell was one smart cat, no ifs, ands or buts. So this story about the decline of MNF was pretty interesting.

Warren Frey is a journalist, freelance writer, podcaster, video producer, and all-around media consultant currently based in Vancouver, Canada. His written work has appeared in such publications as Metro Vancouver, the Westender, Mac | Life and the Japan Times.
