Musicians and their home studios

by

Apparently recording at home is the new hecklebot. Traditional studios are dying (at least in New York) in favor of tunesmiths concocting their magic in a spare room. I know next to nothing about making music, but I do like it when you can take thousands of dollars of technology and replace it with some software on a laptop.
