Neal Stephenson interviewed in Reason

by

Neal Stephenson, author of (most recently) the Baroque Cycle,is the subject of a great interview in Reason magazine (link lifted from the fine folk at Boing Boing.)

Stephenson manages to cover religion, economics, the changing nature of nation states, and a whole swath of other interesting ponderances. I’m halfway through The Confusion, and while sometimes Stephenson tends towards excessive verbiage and overdone ridiculousness, I’m still glad I’m putting in the effort, and I’m looking forward to cracking open The System of the World soon.
