Radio Free Skaro #111 – Swollen Mirth

by

More thrilling commentary, this time for the “Stolen Earth,” clearly the best roller coaster ride of Series 4, if not of the entire run of the new series. It’s all downhill from here though, as “Journey’s End” is coming up next, and we all know how that turned out. Still, witticisms and nerdy banter ahead!

Man you guy got this episode out early. You don’t usually have this out till Sunday evening. Shame I’m running behind on the episodes.
Hopefully I’ll have some time to catch up before I have to head back up north to work.

Wow I just found out that I can listen to the podcast through my iPod touch through the rss feed of warren’s web site.
Hey Steven if you want you can borrow my DVD copy of Neverwhere. I quite enjoyed it though I have to say that the book was better than the tv series that Gainan did for it. Though having a budget equaling what the BBC gave for the original/classic doctor who didn’t help any.
Hey chris when I was talking to sean about your power issues with your mbp he suggetes that you try a different battery or even a new power adapter for it.
I have to say that I enjoyed the final season of Blake7. Though it did have a feel to it that everyone wanted it to finally end. It’s interesting that every attempt to get the series going again has failed.

Chris Burgess says:

Such things have been tried in diagnosing the MBP however the likely culprit was the heat sensor around the HD/trackpad/DVDR being faulty, something likely caused in the first repair when the top case was replaced. Regardless Apple ordered a replacement machine (and won’t tell me from what era, if it’s new or a refurb, just that it will at least meet the specs of my old machine) and I await it now. It’s been over a week and there’s still no news from the Apple store and the online repair status indicator says “status not available” so it’s a crapshoot as to when I get something back.
