Radio Free Skaro #77 – Full Frontal Skaro

by

Doctor Who’s fourth season premiered, Torchwood wrapped up its second season, and the Radio Free Skaro crew was reunited, as once again the Third Guy mixed a potent stew of fact checking and invective with Warren and Steven. Much banter was passed back and forth, as well as heaping spoonfuls of abuse, as the crew hashed over the mysteries of “Partners in Crime” and digressed as ever.

Warren Frey is a journalist, freelance writer, podcaster, video producer, and all-around media consultant currently based in Vancouver, Canada. His written work has appeared in such publications as Metro Vancouver, the Westender, Mac | Life and the Japan Times.

jabberwocky says:

between DW and Coronation St. which has the greater guest appearances of actors from the other series?

Chris Burgess says:

DW began in late 1963, Corrie in late 1960. Each has had numerous crossover actors however it’s important to bear in mind that DW was London-based and Corrie Manchester-based so not all actors would want to make the commute. Heck, look at why Norman Lovett left Red Dwarf… he lived in Edinburgh, they rehearsed in London and filmed in Manchester. That’s a lot of miles!

I Am Steven says:

Filmed in Manchester….when’s Christopher Eccleston going to make an appearance, then?

Chris Burgess says:

Eccleston is from Salford, Lancashire I thought…

Chris Burgess says:

Ah, Lancashire is now part of greater Manchester. In that case, who knows… other than if he goes on a soap, you know, maybe he’d be typecast…

jabberwocky says:

You mean they will have him play a 900+ year old alien that travels around in a Blue Police Box.
