The mind behind Daily KOS

by

Markos Moulitsas Zuniga runs Daily KOS, the biggest liberal weblog in the States. I’ve always found his site to be irritating; it seems to be driven by him writing about some arcane point of Washington infighting, and then screaming “you see? YOU SEE?” about the Republicans. Even though my political leanings are probably more in his direction, I ended up reading Instapundit, KOS’s right-wing equivalent, during the 2004 election, because it was much better written and nowhere near as strident.

But just because the guy is irritating doesn’t mean he isn’t interesting. Washington Monthly has a lengthy article profiling Moulitsas and his doings.

Warren Frey is a journalist, freelance writer, podcaster, video producer, and all-around media consultant currently based in Vancouver, Canada. His written work has appeared in such publications as Metro Vancouver, the Westender, Mac | Life and the Japan Times.
