Gopnik wrote Paris to the Moon, a memoir of a writer for the New Yorker who spent five years living in France with his wife and young child. It’s a pretty decent book, despite slipping occasionally into the usual East coast intellectual snobbery, and now he’s done an interview of what it’s like to come back to the States.
