So I haven't put anything on here about Alexander, the new flick coming from Oliver Stone this Christmas. I'm not exactly sure what I think of this film; Stone certainly has the chops to make an epic film about one of history's most interesting figures, but on the other hand, he also has a tendency to go completely crazy-assed in the editing room. Sometimes it works well, like in info-dense movies like Nixon or JFK.
But sometimes it's a bit of a mess, like NBK or the Doors. Some worrying points: Angelina Jolie seems to be speaking in some weird Klingon accent throughout the trailer, and Val Kilmer has gone from winning the Prettyboy Olympics to looking like that crazy dude down at the trailer park who eats squirrels.
