New Statesman on the East India company

The New Statesman has an interesting article on its website about how the British East India Company, the driving economic force and one of the key's of Britain's world dominance for 200 years, prefigured most of the globalization we see today.

Just goes to show that as Harry S. Truman once said, "the only new things are history you don't know." Speaking of which, I've got to find a way to get my pithy quotes back on this site somehow. Oh, Cam.....:)
