Screw Yahoo, use Google for maps.
Mehhh, I says. I only use Yahoo for their maps, which are actually pretty decent. I head straight to Google for practically everything else. But according to broadband guru Om Malik, Yahoo is striking back at the Google juggernaught with a vengeance, with moves like buying Flickr and creating new blog-friendly tools.
I agree with Steven.. Google maps rock... it won't be long before they add some crazy feature like satellite photos to it, I bet...
As for Yahoo!, the one thing I noticed recently is that I find the directory-based approach to searching for info a little more useful the odd time I know that my Google search is going to return a uselessly huge number of results...
Also, I do some search engine optimization projects for web clients, and any time the target audience is over 40 or so, I find that Yahoo! is usually the search engine you want to optimize for, as Yahoo! is everything to a lot of the web-surfing boomer and older crowd...
