The ground shook, Hell froze over and Chip bought an iPad 2. He gives his impressions, including the overall zippiness of the device, the crapitude of the onboard cameras, and the awesomeness that is Flipboard.
We also covered new versions of Infinity Blade and Dead Space for iOS, the arty Sword and Sworcery (due in a week), and gave our impressions of iOS 4.3. A lengthy digression about Twitter and SXSW finally ended up with what we’ve been playing, which ranges from a running app to an over the top sociopathic killfest. Fun!

At least according to one developer at GDC.

Holiday cheer and general merriment abound as the boys cover World of Goo on the iPad, EA’s iOS fire sale, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on the iPhone, the confusing and pointless Playstation app, predictions for 2011, and Doctor Who: Mazes of Time. Neat!
No video this week, due to weak internet capabilities in China. Next week, quite possibly some video.

After a week’s delay, the boys are back to cover Infinity Blade, the iPad 2, Google vs. Apple, the future of publishing, and Angry Birds. Also, achievement whoring.
Note: no video this week, China’s bandwidth is somewhat lacking. Solutions are being looked into by top men.

Games are the main thing being downloaded on the iPad, but you won’t be able to grab iDOS and play old DOS classics anymore on your iPad. Movie games, Batman, Trainyard and Todd rides Bane (in his mind). And for the second week in a row, video!
