First Freyburg Media Daily in the wild

by

I’ve been toying with the idea of doing a daily video post/podcast with a short, opinionated blurb from me about some matter of import. Here’s the first test run of said idea, where I yander on about the iPhone. Constructive criticism welcomed.

Warren Frey is a journalist, freelance writer, podcaster, video producer, and all-around media consultant currently based in Vancouver, Canada. His written work has appeared in such publications as Metro Vancouver, the Westender, Mac | Life and the Japan Times.

Cool… audio levels are a bit (ok, a lot) low but I’m sure that’s due to my inferior non-Apple playback hardware. 🙂

I’m guessing the data plan will be the big difference here; I’m thinking we’ll probably end up paying around what the AT&T plan is but I’m not crossing my fingers for unlimited data…

Warren says:

Yeah, I noticed that too……that’s probably due to the fact that it defaulted to the internal mic and not the USB mic I hooked up, so that’ll be solved soon.

Jordan says:

Hey, not bad! Bitch.

Warren says:

Heh….another one dropping tonight, this time with audio tweaking. And I’ll get rid of the blur transitions, Youtube seems to hate them.

Audio is OK from here. Like the old school feel. Short is good too. Keep it under a minute, and I’ll watch it every day.

John says:

It would have been better if you were angrier and had less shirt.

Warren says:

Trust me, you don’t want to see me with a natural-sweater-vest on. 🙂 Plus unlike Lorne Feldman, I just can’t get pissed off about Web 2.0 companies with dumb business models. At least not enough to rant angrily and shirtlessly.

Rommel says:

Nice job Frey!
