Jim Munroe on televisual torrenting

Indie media tyro Jim Munroe, the brains behind No Media Kings, has a new interview on his site where he details not only the positive aspects of downloading tv shows off the net (like word of mouth unsullied by promo hacks, and widespread exposure for artists) but also interviews Kirin, who runs #digitaldistractions, one of the more esoteric torrent sites.

Warren Frey is a journalist, freelance writer, podcaster, video producer, and all-around media consultant currently based in Vancouver, Canada. His written work has appeared in such publications as Metro Vancouver, the Westender, Mac | Life and the Japan Times.
