Radio Free Skaro #108 – Hey, Who Turned down the Lights?

Chris ran into some serious technical difficulties this week, but eventually sucked up his pride and used a PC rather than his beloved Mac to deliver unto you, our loyal fans, a commentary of “Forest of the Dead.” And that’s it really, there was no news (other than a rather impressive changing of the guard in Washington, D.C.) to discuss, and for the most part the Three Who Rules stayed on-topic and focused on the episode playing out in front of them. Amazing.

Well another entertaining episode except for the lack of going off topic.

when are you guys going to do commentry on the Peter Cushing’s Doctor who movies? Now there is some classic DW for you guys to do.

Chris Burgess says:

It’s a well-kept secret but after the series 4 commentaries we’ll be doing a commentary for Dimensions in Time. We’re all addicted to it and watch it no less than half a dozen times a day each so we thought it’s about time we gave it some respect on the podcast front.

No doubt we’ll get to the Cushing movies just as soon as we do a DiT commentary.

Jesus Christ man,
I am coming to your house in the next couple of weeks and bringing my sm58 mic and stand and putting up blankets and pillows on the walls of your little windowed space so that you sound like the man you are and not some tiny mouse-ish weasely thing using the 1978 tape recorder mic that i am guessing you think “will do just fine” or “get’s the job done.”
Frey man.
It doesn’t sound good.
Please let me help you.
It really is the little things that make the difference.
I got 8 mins in and could listen no more because of the difference in fidelity between the three of you.
I am just a audio nerd like that.

Jonny Vancouver says:

….and by “a” I mean “an”.
Apparently I am also a giant grammar nerd.

jabberwocky says:

Ah Dimentions in Time, truly a classic of DW.
